This carbon steel connector link -- also known as a master link -- is used to connect two ends of #80H heavy-duty roller chain together. The heavy series design features thicker side plates compared to standard #80 chain links, increasing fatigue resistance and tensile strength for demanding drive applications in agricultural equipment, construction equipment, conveyors, and industrial power transmission systems. The spring clip style fastener secures the link plate in place; install with the clip opening facing away from the direction of travel.
