Three Mulching Blades for Your John Deere 62 Inch Deck
This is a full set of three replacement mulching blades for John Deere 62 inch mower decks. One order fits out an entire 62C or 62D deck, so you can change all three blades at the same time and keep the cut balanced. These blades carry aftermarket number 396-771 and directly replace John Deere M143504, M152727 and M158112.
Blade Specifications
Each blade is 21-5/8 inches long and 3 inches wide, with a 0.250 inch thick body and a 13/16 inch round center hole that drops onto the factory John Deere spindle. The high-lift design has a 1 inch air lift and a 1/2 inch offset. Three blades are required to service one 62 inch deck.

The 62C and 62D decks on these tractors use this blade:
X465, X475, X485, X495, X575, X585 and X595 garden tractors, plus the X700 Signature Series including X700, X720, X724, X728, X740, X744, X748 and X749. If you are unsure, check the number stamped on your old blade before ordering.
Mulching Performance
This is a high-lift mulching style blade, not the flat low-lift blade many of these decks shipped with. The raised wing and cutting profile keep clippings circulating under the deck so they are cut smaller, which helps both mulching and bagging. It is a straightforward upgrade when you want a finer finish on the lawn.

John Deere M143504, M152727, M158112, and aftermarket 396-771. Replace blades that are worn thin, bent, cracked or dull to get back to a clean, level cut across the whole 62 inch deck.
