This 24-volt electric linear actuator -- also cataloged as the Actuator GP-Power -- powers the hood tilt function on Fits Caterpillar (Fits CAT) G-Series II and H-Series wheel loaders and Integrated Toolcarriers. It provides motorized lifting and lowering of the engine hood, allowing single-operator access to the engine compartment without manual effort. The actuator mounts as part of the Hood Tilt Group assembly and is a direct-fit replacement for the original 305-8958 unit.
