This aftermarket replacement charge pump -- also identified as a pilot gear pump or pump group-gear pilot -- supplies low-pressure hydraulic flow to the pilot valves and control levers on Caterpillar (Cat) track and wheel excavators, enabling smooth, accurate operation of major hydraulic functions including boom, bucket, and swing controls. It is designed to fit the A8VO160 main pump configuration used on 330B and 345B series machines.
