This felt dust seal fits the top of the steering column and is a direct aftermarket replacement for Ford and New Holland tractors spanning the 8N through the later 2000, 3000, 4000, and 5000 series. It keeps dust and debris out of the upper steering column assembly, protecting the bearing, spring seat, and related components.
