This rubber friction drive ring is a key component of the traction drive system on 2-stage snow throwers. Positioned between the friction plates and the friction disc, it meshes with the friction disc to turn the drive wheel axle, propelling the machine forward. A worn or cracked ring causes erratic movement or complete loss of drive - replacing it restores full self-propelled traction. Sold individually. Inner diameter 3-5/8 in., outer diameter 4-1/2 in. Compatible with many snow throwers built since 2002.
