This aftermarket replacement thermostat housing fits a wide range of Fits John Deere (Fits JD) gas and diesel-powered tractors, backhoe loaders, construction and industrial machines, and motor graders. The housing is part of the engine cooling system and secures the thermostat to the engine block, directing coolant flow to regulate operating temperature. Compatible with castings marked R39690, R41853, or R42664. Note: Fits John Deere 500A and Construction & Industrial 500 and 500A are compatible for serial numbers 152141 and earlier only. Fits John Deere 3010 and 3020 tractors are compatible for Engine ASN 066499 and earlier. Fits John Deere 5020 and 6030 tractors require the 531D Engine.
