This metering diaphragm assembly is a key internal carburetor component used in Fits Walbro diaphragm-type carburetors fitted to lawn and garden equipment. The metering diaphragm sits inside the metering chamber of the carburetor, responding to engine vacuum to regulate fuel delivery and maintain proper air-fuel mixture. A worn or cracked diaphragm causes hard starting, rough running, or lean/rich conditions -- replacing it restores proper carburetor function.
