One New Aftermarket Replacement Crankshaft End Play Shim Fits Briggs and Stratton Small Engines
This crankshaft end play shim (standard) is used during engine assembly or rebuild to set proper crankshaft end-play clearance. Correct end-play is critical to engine longevity -- too much clearance causes premature bearing wear, while too little can bind the crankshaft. This shim fits most Fits Briggs and Stratton (B&S) engines in the 430000, 432000, 433000, 437000, 522000, 580000, and 582000 series, as well as compatible Daihatsu DM850D and DM950D engines. It is also used on equipment branded under Fits Cub Cadet and Simplicity that uses these Fits Briggs and Stratton engine platforms.
