This carburetor inlet seat (also called a needle valve seat) is a small but critical fuel system component pressed into the carburetor body. It provides the sealing surface for the inlet needle valve, regulating fuel flow into the float bowl. A worn or damaged seat allows the float bowl to overfill and leak, causing hard starting, rough running, or fuel overflow.
