One New Aftermarket Replacement Rewind Starter Fits Briggs & Fits Stratton Small Engines

This rewind (recoil) starter assembly replaces OEM part number 597268 on select Fits Briggs & Fits Stratton lawn and garden equipment engines. When the pull rope is yanked, the assembly engages the clutch and spins the crankshaft to crank the engine. The assembly includes the recoil housing, rope, and rewind spring; note that mounting screws are typically not included.
