This carburetor primer bulb (primer-carburetor) is a direct-fit aftermarket replacement Fits Briggs & Fits Stratton (B&S) small engines. Mounted on the carburetor, the primer bulb injects a small shot of fuel into the carburetor throat to aid cold starting and first-start ignition on lawn mowers, snow blowers, and other outdoor power equipment. Over time, primer bulbs harden, crack, or tear at the base, causing loss of suction and difficult starting -- this replacement restores proper fuel priming function.
