This aftermarket replacement fuel tank shut-off valve (petcock) controls the flow of fuel from the generator's gas tank to the fuel line. It mounts directly to the tank's threaded port and features an on/off lever to stop fuel flow for storage or maintenance. A failed or leaking fuel valve is a common cause of fuel delivery problems on portable generators -- replacing it restores proper fuel control and prevents fuel leaks.
