This 12-volt Bosch-type PLGR starter is a direct-fit aftermarket replacement for a wide range of John Deere agricultural tractors. It mounts to the engine block and engages the flywheel ring gear to start the diesel engine. The Bosch PLGR (Permanent Magnet Gear Reduction) design delivers reliable cranking torque for 4.5L and 6.8L John Deere diesel engines.
