This 3VX1000/06 cogged wedge banded V-belt is a 6-band power transmission belt used in agricultural, industrial, lawn and garden, and other multi-groove drive applications. The cogged (notched) inner surface increases flexibility and heat dissipation, allowing the belt to operate efficiently on smaller-diameter pulleys and at higher speeds. The banded construction ties all six ribs into a single unit, preventing belt rollover, reducing vibration and belt whip, and distributing load evenly across all grooves -- ideal where multiple conventional V-belts cause instability or where drive space is limited.
