This aftermarket engine coolant thermostat replaces OEM part number 8-94472331-1 and fits Kobelco SK-series excavators powered by Isuzu 4BD1, 4BG1, and 6BG1 diesel engines. The thermostat regulates engine coolant temperature within the Isuzu engine cooling system, opening at 82 degrees Celsius (179.6 degrees Fahrenheit) to allow coolant flow and maintain optimal operating temperature.
