This aftermarket replacement rotocoil (valve rotator) fits Caterpillar large-displacement diesel engines used in scrapers, trucks, tractors, and off-highway equipment powered by the D346, D348, D349, and related engine families. The rotocoil mounts on the valve stem and rotates the engine valve slightly with each open-and-close cycle, preventing carbon buildup in the valve guide and promoting uniform valve wear to help maintain compression and extend engine service life. Most OEM manufacturers recommend replacing rotocoils any time an engine is overhauled.
