This aftermarket replacement piston cooling nozzle (tube assembly) fits Caterpillar (Cat) heavy-duty diesel engines in the 3406E, C15, C16, and C18 series. The piston cooling nozzle directs pressurized engine oil onto the underside of the piston crown to dissipate heat, protecting pistons and rings from thermal damage under high-load operating conditions.
