This variable displacement axial piston pump (Pump Gp-Piston) is the main hydraulic pump on Caterpillar (Cat) TH-series telehandlers, supplying pressurized flow to the boom lift, tilt, and auxiliary hydraulic circuits. It is based on the Bosch Rexroth A10VO45 platform and is driven directly by the 3054, 3054C, or 3054E engine. Supersedes OEM part number 179-1863.
