One New Aftermarket Replacement Retainer for Caterpillar (Cat) Track-Type Tractors and Pipelayers
This formed steel retainer replaces Caterpillar part number 217-3655 (2173655) and is used to position and retain components within the final drive group and wheel and brake group on Caterpillar track-type tractors and pipelayers. The retainer secures the reaction hub to the spindle in the final drive and retains the bearing to the wheel spindle in the wheel and brake assembly.
