This aftermarket replacement turbocharger cartridge -- also known as a CHRA (Center Housing Rotating Assembly) -- is the core rotating assembly of the Garrett TV6135 turbocharger used on Caterpillar 3306 and 3306B diesel engines. The CHRA contains the turbine wheel, compressor wheel, bearings, and seals. When the existing turbine and compressor housings are intact, replacing the cartridge is a cost-effective alternative to full turbocharger replacement.
