This standard-size main and thrust bearing kit is a direct replacement for Caterpillar (Cat) part number 196-9534 (also formatted as 196-9534). Designed for the Caterpillar 3306 diesel engine, the main bearings support the crankshaft and absorb engine loads during operation. Worn or damaged main bearings can cause loss of oil pressure, noise, and catastrophic engine failure if not addressed. This kit includes both main and thrust bearings at standard size for use with an unmodified, standard-dimension crankshaft.
