This aftermarket replacement rotating group is the core internal assembly of a piston-type hydraulic pump used on Caterpillar (Cat) excavators, wheel loaders, and compactors. The rotating group consists of a cylinder barrel rotated by a shaft, with pistons installed in the cylinder block with brass shoes attached. As the cylinder block turns, the pistons travel in and out of the bore to generate hydraulic flow. Replaces OEM Caterpillar part number 1850235 (also formatted as 185-0235).
