One New Aftermarket Replacement Seal-Buffer for Caterpillar (Cat) Excavators and Large Mining Shovels
This buffer seal installs in Caterpillar hydraulic cylinders, where it works in conjunction with u-cup rod seals to protect against pressure spikes and reduce wear on the sealing system. The buffer seal absorbs hydraulic pressure surges before they reach the primary u-cup seal, extending the service life of the entire cylinder rod seal assembly.
