This hydraulic cylinder buffer seal (Seal As-Buffer) installs in Caterpillar (Cat) hydraulic cylinders to absorb pressure spikes and shock loads, reducing impact stress on the primary sealing system and extending overall cylinder seal life. The hinged-lip urethane design reduces friction, heat, and wear under low-pressure conditions and acts as a check valve providing back-pressure relief.
