This viscous fan unit (fan drive clutch) is a temperature-activated cooling system component Fits John Deere (Fits JD) 6000-series agricultural tractors powered by 4045 and 6068 engines (4.5L and 6.8L). The viscous fan clutch automatically modulates fan speed based on engine temperature, reducing parasitic engine load during normal operation and engaging full cooling capacity when needed. It mounts to the engine front and drives the radiator cooling fan.
