This 10-foot rubber cutting edge from SAM (Buyers Products) is designed specifically for municipal and DOT highway snow plows. Measuring 1-1/2 inch thick x 10 inch wide x 120 inches long with the Standard Highway Punch hole pattern, it installs in place of worn steel or rubber edges on full-size highway plow trucks. The rubber construction provides a squeegee-style clearing action that cleans pavement faster and far quieter than steel edges, while conforming to irregular road surfaces, brick pavers, cobblestones, and other sensitive surfaces without causing damage. Rubber absorbs impact and shock that would otherwise be transmitted to the plow frame, truck, and driver, reducing wear on the entire system.
