This aftermarket replacement piston assembly (Piston As) fits Caterpillar 3114, 3116, and 3126 diesel engines used across a range of machine, industrial, and truck applications, as well as the CB-634C paving compactor. The piston rides in the cylinder bore and converts combustion pressure into crankshaft rotation, forming a critical component of the engine's power assembly. The 3114 and 3116 engines use one-piece aluminum pistons with an iron band for the top two compression rings, while higher-pressure configurations use a two-piece steel crown and aluminum skirt design.
