This aftermarket replacement trunnion support (Support-Trunnion) is a heavy-duty structural component used in the oscillating rear axle assembly on Caterpillar medium wheel loaders. The trunnion support houses the axle trunnion bore and mounting surfaces that allow the rear axle to oscillate, maintaining ground contact and stability during operation. Worn or damaged trunnion supports -- common when bore surfaces become fretted or out-of-round -- can cause excessive axle movement, accelerated bearing wear, and handling instability.
