This aftermarket replacement side mount distributor fits the late model Fits Ford 8N tractor and is a direct replacement for OEM part number 8N12127B. The distributor mounts to the right side of the engine (with the generator positioned on the left side) and is a key component of the ignition system, responsible for directing high-voltage current to each spark plug in the correct firing order to keep the engine running smoothly. Includes distributor cap, points, and condenser. Does not include ignition coil or gasket.
Important Fitment Note: This side mount distributor Fits Ford 8N tractors with serial number 263844 and above (mid-1950 through 1952 production). Early 8N tractors prior to serial number 263844 used a front mount distributor and require a different part. Verify your distributor mounting style before ordering.
