This blade engagement cable is a perfect fit for my older Poulan 42 inch deck. Other than poor design on the mower the cable install went well. The blades engage better than before. Product was seemingly good quality, havent used the tractor for any length of time yet. Install was straight forward and fit well.. I recommend doing the drive belt and buying a new cushion bolt when replacing. Remember to put aterring wheel straight when installing
