This torsion spring is a direct replacement for the down-pressure spring used in the Loewen Manufacturing / A&I Products Stalk Stryker corn head stalk stomper system. The spring applies consistent downward pressure to the Stalk Stryker shoe assembly, forcing corn stalks to the ground ahead of the combine to protect tires and tracks from puncture damage during harvest.
