This aftermarket replacement hydraulic axial piston pump (Pump Group-Piston) services the main hydraulic system on Caterpillar heavy off-highway trucks. It is a variable-displacement axial piston design and is the direct replacement for Caterpillar OEM part number 178-5195. Note: OEM part 178-5195 supersedes earlier part number 145-5246 -- if your machine currently carries 145-5246, this pump is the correct current replacement.
