This 12-volt Permanent Magnet Gear Reduction (PMGR) starter is a direct-fit aftermarket replacement Fits John Deere (Fits JD) utility tractors powered by the 2.9L 3-cylinder PowerTech diesel engine. It replaces the original Fits Bosch-supplied starter motor and mounts directly to the engine block using two unthreaded 11mm mounting ears with no modification required.
