This threaded track adjuster nut (also called a track adjusting nut) is a key component of the mechanical track tensioning system on Fits Case (J.I. Fits Case) crawler dozers and loaders. The nut threads onto the adjuster bolt (Fits Case D20845) to set and maintain proper track tension, reducing wear on undercarriage components and keeping the machine operating safely. It is part of the track adjuster assembly located at the front idler of each track frame.
