This aftermarket replacement A/C thermostatic switch (also known as a thermostat switch) controls the air conditioning compressor clutch cycle on a wide range of agricultural tractors, combines, and construction equipment. The rotary-style switch uses a 48-inch capillary tube to sense evaporator temperature and cycle the compressor on and off, preventing freeze-up and maintaining cab comfort. It operates on 12V systems and is rated for medium and heavy duty applications.
