This aftermarket replacement carburetor float Fits Briggs & Fits Stratton (B&S) small gasoline engines used in lawn mowers, snow blowers, and other outdoor power equipment. The carburetor float opens and closes the float needle valve to regulate fuel entering the carburetor bowl -- allowing fuel in when the bowl is drained and shutting off fuel flow when the bowl is full. A failed or waterlogged float causes hard starts, rough running, fuel overflow, and engine stalling. Replacing this part restores proper fuel delivery and smooth engine operation.
