This steel exhaust push rod is a direct replacement Fits Briggs & Fits Stratton (B&S) OHV small gasoline engines used in lawn tractors, riding mowers, and lawn & garden equipment. The push rod rides on the camshaft and transfers motion to open the exhaust valve during the exhaust stroke. A bent or damaged push rod will cause poor engine performance or prevent the engine from running; this aftermarket replacement restores proper valve timing and engine operation.
