This aftermarket replacement Governor/Oil Slinger fits a wide range of Fits Briggs & Fits Stratton (B&S) small engines used in lawn mowers, pressure washers, generators, and other outdoor power equipment. The governor/oil slinger assembly serves a dual function inside the engine crankcase: it distributes oil to lubricate internal components and simultaneously drives the mechanical governor to regulate engine speed. Replacing a worn or damaged slinger restores proper oil distribution and stable engine speed control.
