This splined jackshaft shaft is a deck drive component used on Murray riding lawn mowers and lawn tractors. The jackshaft links the deck pulleys to the mower blades, transmitting power from the belt-driven pulley down through the spindle assembly to drive the cutting blades. It is also compatible with Scotts-branded mowers that share the Murray deck platform.
