This slotted castle (castellated) nut secures the front wheel hub to the front axle spindle on a wide range of agricultural tractors. Designed as a direct-fit aftermarket replacement, it threads onto the 3/4"-16 UNF front spindle and is retained by a cotter pin to prevent loosening under load. Commonly used in front axle hub service and rebuild procedures.
