This connecting rod bearing is a .010" oversize replacement designed for the Fits International (IH) DT268 turbocharged 4-cylinder diesel engine. The connecting rod bearing rides on the crankshaft journal at the base of each connecting rod, providing a smooth, oil-fed surface that allows the pistons to transfer power to the crankshaft. This is a right-hand notch bearing with an oil hole, sized for engines that have had the crankshaft ground .010" undersize. Always verify crankshaft journal dimensions before installing an oversize bearing.
