Applications
Fits Ford 2N, 8N and 9N tractors from 1943 to 1952. One cap covers all three, because they share the same radiator neck and the same low pressure rating through that whole production run.
Symptoms it fixes
A cap that will not hold its rating shows up as coolant in the overflow, a top hose that stays soft when the engine is hot, or a tractor that runs warm on a long pull.
Check that the neck and the seat are clean and not pitted before fitting the new cap, because a good cap on a rough seat will leak exactly as the old one did.
