This aftermarket replacement pin assembly (Pin A) is a hydraulic cylinder pivot pin used on Caterpillar excavator and logger equipment. Pins of this type secure hydraulic cylinder mounting points -- such as boom, stick, and blade cylinder connections -- allowing the cylinder to pivot freely as it extends and retracts during operation. Replacing worn or damaged pins restores proper joint alignment and prevents accelerated wear to surrounding bores and bushings.
