One New Aftermarket Replacement Intermediate Piston Ring for Caterpillar (Cat) C-12 / C12 Engines
This aftermarket replacement intermediate piston ring (the second ring in the three-ring piston assembly) is designed for Caterpillar C-12 and C12 diesel engines. The intermediate ring seats between the top compression ring and the oil control ring, helping to regulate cylinder pressure and reduce oil consumption. It is a direct replacement for OEM part number 216-8570 / 2168570.
