This aftermarket replacement valve seal (Seal-Valve) fits Caterpillar (Cat) forklifts, telescopic handlers, and backhoe loaders equipped with Perkins engines. It is an umbrella-type valve stem seal used in the engine valvetrain to prevent oil from passing down the valve stem into the combustion chamber. Replacing worn or cracked valve seals helps eliminate blue exhaust smoke and reduces oil consumption.
