This aftermarket replacement turbocharger (Turbocharger GP) is designed for use on the Caterpillar 988B wheel loader powered by the 3408 and 3408E diesel engines. The turbocharger supplies forced induction to the engine's intake system, supporting the power output and efficiency demands of heavy construction wheel loader applications. This unit uses the Borg Warner / Schwitzer 4MF-731 turbo platform and is a direct drop-in replacement for the original Caterpillar unit.
