This aftermarket replacement rotocoil (197-6999) is a cylinder head valve train component used in Caterpillar 3500 Series diesel and natural gas engines. The rotocoil seats on the valve stem and causes the valve to rotate slightly with each opening cycle, promoting even wear across the valve face and seat and extending valve service life. It is used on both intake and exhaust valves in these large-displacement heavy-duty engines.
