This aftermarket replacement fuel priming pump (Pump GP-Fuel Priming) is a manual hand-operated primer used to prime the fuel system on Caterpillar diesel engines and equipment. It replaces Caterpillar OEM part number 1832824 (183-2824) and is used to bleed air from the fuel lines and restore fuel prime after filter changes, fuel system maintenance, or fuel starvation events.
