The seal is manufactured from Fluorocarbon (FKM/Viton) rubber, rated for service temperatures of -40 to 150 degrees C and resistant to fuel (including bio-diesel), lubricants, and oils. It is a D-ring style seal with a curved cross-section orientation, designed to reduce friction for smooth and responsive brake operation.
